About Us

The Scottish Society for Rheumatology was founded in 2001, as successor to the longstanding Scottish Rheumatology Club.

The Society aims
  • To promote the development of scientific knowledge about Rheumatology
  • To further the development of Rheumatology as a Specialty within Scotland

Educational meetings are held in Spring and Autumn each year.  Scientific Abstracts presented are published in the Scottish Medical Journal.

An elected Council administers business affairs on behalf of Society members.

The Constitution of the Scottish Society for Rheumatology is available here.
